Two Burgundians, Céline Arbus and Sabrina Malrieu, will soon start the Aïcha des Gazelles 2023 rally.
For this rally which will take place in Morocco from March 3 to 18, they are registered in the crossover category, team 305 under the association “Les gazelles du Lauragais” because they wish to highlight the region and its companies and become their ambassadors.
“Our vehicle – announces Céline – our 3rd gazelle is a Duster 4X4 equipped by Nardi Automobiles and Euro 4×4. Team 305 was born from a common passion for Morocco and from this desire, at key moments in our lives, to Curious and dynamic, this magnificent challenge will take us out of our comfort zone, take us to meet the population and make us proud of our performance, which we can share.”
Sabrina Malrieu, 38, executive assistant discovered Morocco in 2017 during her first participation in the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles. Céline Arbus, 55, primary school principal. Passionate regarding Morocco, its inhabitants, its grandiose landscapes, she has already made 4 raids there. Regarding their physical preparation, the two companions have done a driving course to learn to drive in the sand and go several times a week to fitness classes provided by the Gym Fit’Saussens association. “We also practice cycling in the Lauragaise countryside. All these activities allow us to strengthen our muscles, work on our cardio while improving our endurance because the rally days will be long” concludes Sabrina.
A united race
Céline and Sabrina, to finalize their project are still looking for partnerships. They will also take advantage of the rally to help local populations by supporting the “Coeur de Gazelles” association because they want to give a charitable and solidarity dimension to this adventure.
Each with her personality and her motivation, will contribute to the realization of this magnificent challenge.
