Two Russians will play in the final of the junior Australian Open
The day before, Belarusian Arina Sobolenko and Moscow-born Elena Rybakina, representing Kazakhstan, reached the final of the main women’s tournament.

Russian tennis players Mirra Andreeva and Alina Korneeva reached the final of the junior Australian Open.
In the semi-finals, Korneeva defeated the Japanese Sayaka Ishii with a score of 2:6, 6:4, 6:2, having spent 1 hour and 50 minutes on the court. Andreeva in the 1/2 finals defeated the British Rana Akua Stoiber – 6:3, 6:3. The duration of the match was 1 hour 24 minutes.
Previously to the finals of the main women’s tournament came out Belarusian Arina Sobolenko and native of Moscow Elena Rybakina, representing Kazakhstan. Sobolenko in the 1/2 finals defeated the Polish Magda Lynette. Rybakina defeated the two-time champion of the tournament, Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, in the semifinals.
The Australian Open takes place in Melbourne from 16 to 29 January.
