ICC has announced the best men’s cricketer in the world for 2022

ICC announces men’s cricketer of the year for 2022 calendar year
Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam won the ICC Cricketer of the Year award.
Babar Azam won the Sir Garryfield Sobers Trophy for the best ICC men’s player last year with his outstanding performance.

Babar has scored 2598 runs in 44 matches in Test, ODI and T20 formats. And Babar has been able to play the role of savior at many crucial stages in the Pac innings.

The player scored 2598 runs at an average of 54.12 from 44 matches played in all three formats last year. This includes eight centuries and 17 fifties. Babar Azam also held the record of being the only batsman to score more than 2000 runs in Test, ODI and T20 formats in the calendar year 2022.

Babar Azam scored three centuries and five half-centuries out of the nine one-day cricket matches he played last year. Many fans came out praising Babar who managed to get high scores in all the other matches except for one ODI match.

Although his performance in ODI matches was not up to par, Babar was able to produce a great individual performance as a batsman in the Test cricket format as well. Babar played nine Test matches in the last calendar year and scored 1184 runs. After 2009, Babar has also led the team to the finals of the World Cup, who has produced excellent individual performance in T20 cricket as well.

Meanwhile, England women’s cricketer Nat Sciver is I. C. C’s last year’s best female player. Sciver scored 1346 runs and 22 wickets in 33 matches played last year.
