This 15th edition takes visitors on a discovery of butterflies and moths. Get ready to experience a whole enchantment from February 16 to April 29, 2012!

Virtual exhibition highlighting the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Botanical Garden. Mon, June 16, 2011 12:10:00 PM EST

The exhibition is organized into three sections. The history of the Botanical Garden offers a historical tour in 24 stops through more than 300 images and archive documents. The Archives and photo albums present various historical collections: 723 black and white photographs of the construction and the beginnings of the Garden, 67 plans and sketches of the gardens, 39 posters of the floral exhibitions, 9 souvenir albums of the floral exhibitions, 37 letters taken from the correspondence between Brother Marie-Victorin and Henry Teuscher, 14 extracts of signatures from the guest book, 351 photos of flower shows, 68 press clippings and 3 films. Finally, the Publications section includes the first twenty issues of the Memoirs of the Botanical Garden of Montral. This virtual exhibition has been produced with the financial support of the Government of Canada through Library and Archives Canada.
