We talked regarding it a few weeks ago, OnePlus will launch a keyboard on February 7, and it will be compatible with Macs. And as it is listed on the french siteso it should also arrive in our regions with a suitable layout.
OnePlus will release a keyboard (?) with a key layout adapted to macOS (??)
A white mechanical keyboard
The keyboard will use mechanical switches with obviously RGB backlighting, a must for all modern high-end products (except Apple). The video shows a “65%” type keyboard, i.e. without a numeric keypad and without a separate block for the arrows, like the Magic Keyboard classique.
We can notice a big round key in a corner, which is red in the images by 91Mobiles and transparent in the video of OnePlus.
The keyboard offers a USB-C interface with a removable cable, but also the possibility of connecting it via Bluetooth. A switch on the back indicates that it is Mac and PC compatible, and it probably allows the keys to be reversed alt
et Windows
to get the equivalent of option
et command
once the keyboard is connected to a Mac.
The main question obviously remains that of the price. OnePlus is a brand known for going straight to the point and providing quality products at a good price, but mechanical keyboards with an aluminum chassis are still expensive to start with.
