Speaking to VTC News, Pham Duy Nghia, director of Vietfoot Travel, said that because domestic services have come into operation more stably, the number of international visitors will certainly increase sharply in 2023.

“In front of me is Japanese market, we are regarding to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations with Japan so we can expect more tourists from this country to come to Vietnam. Besides, China recently announced to open the border following 3 years of closure, so the number of visitors to Vietnam will also increase sharply,” Nghia assessed.

According to Mr. Nghia, the most expected international tourist market in 2023 is China, because the people of this country have been blocked for a long time due to the pandemic. Therefore, when they have the opportunity, their need to travel increases very high. However, due to the impact of the pandemic, the economy of Chinese tourists is no longer as abundant as before, they will not choose to travel in remote countries or expensive markets.

“Chinese tourists cannot go to faraway countries, to luxury shopping malls. They need a place close, cost-effective, easy to move and most importantly satisfy the need to travel. Vietnam is a country that satisfies all of the above conditions, so Chinese tourists will surely come to Vietnam more in the near future,” Vietfoot Travel CEO analyzed.

Sharing the same opinion, Mr. Tran The Dung – Director of Vietluxtour travel agency said that in 2023, international visitors will pour into Vietnam in a more breakthrough way.

According to Mr. Dung, in 2022, Vietnam has just opened, international tourism partners mainly come to us to explore and evaluate the market, from which they will plan to sell tours, receive guests for tourists. year 2023.

“All of our products and services from hotels, restaurants to accommodation facilities have fully recovered. Therefore, I expect that in 2023, international visitors to Vietnam will have a good growth, “said Mr. Dung.

However, according to Mr. Dung, Vietnam needs to soon remove the obstacles and difficulties mentioned in the past year, creating a driving force to stimulate the market in 2023 to compete with other markets in the region.

Vietluxtour CEO also said that Vietnam has missed a warm winter to attract more international visitors, but in the second quarter of 2023, international visitors to Vietnam will start to explode.

Talking regarding the preparation of travel businesses to prepare for a crowded international visitor scenario, Mr. Pham Duy Nghia said, not only Vietfoot Travel but also most travel businesses are ready to welcome guests. crowded international.
