Germany will deliver the long-awaited Leopard 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine and will also allow third countries such as Poland to do the same. This was first reported on Tuesday evening by Der Spiegel, and the information was confirmed immediately followingwards by German government circles, including the German Press Agency. The German delivery should involve at least one company of the relatively modern Leopard 2A6. According to this, at least 14 tanks should come from German Bundeswehr stocks and be available relatively quickly. Other leopards from the stocks of the industry might be used in the medium to long term.
