Eva Ferrer, right hand of the First Lady, Verónica Alcocer, officially assumed by decree as Counselor for National Reconciliation. Until this weekend she worked as a counselor for Children, but with the restructuring of the Presidency had to change jobs.
Through decree 0068 of 2023, the Minister of Labor, Gloria Inés Ramírez, in her delegated functions conferred by the Constitution if the president is outside the country and he authorizes it, signed the document that made the position official.
“Appoint from the date to the doctor Eva Ferrer Galceran in the employment of Presidential adviser in the Presidential Council for National Reconciliation of the Administrative Department of the Presidency of the Republic”, the decree reads.
Ferrer served as a communications and marketing advisor to the now first lady during the campaign for the 2022 elections, in addition He managed Alcocer’s media affairs and media agenda.
Ferrer has a degree in Political Science and Public Administration, has a postgraduate degree in Communication and Political Strategy and another postgraduate degree in Communication and Public Relations. She has been an advisor to the Barcelona City Council. The Casa de Nariño official was given Colombian nationality so that she might access public office.
