Graciela Fernandez Meijideformer senator and human rights activist, spoke out publicly regarding the CELAC summit to be held in Argentina and gave rise to certain leaders questioned in terms of Human Rights, such as Nicolas Maduro, Daniel Ortega y Miguel Diaz-Canel.
In this sense, Fernández Meijide strongly targeted the Secretary of Human Rights, Horace Pietragalla: “He is the son of a disappeared person. If someone should know what the consequences of brutal violations of Human Rights are, it should be the son of a disappeared person”sentenced.

Likewise, the member of the Argentine Forum for Democracy in the Region (FADER), remarked: “There is a permanent contradiction of this government in its discourse regarding Human Rights”.
“They claim to have been the first to deal with the issue, always looking back, to the 70s, and not looking to now, where they organize the CELAC meeting and are invited Nicolas Maduro from Venezuela, Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua and Miguel Diaz-Canel of Cuba,” he said.
