In the biopic “Ingeborg Bachmann – Reise in die Wüste” Margarethe von Trotta (80) tells of the life of the Austrian writer, who is considered one of the most important German-language poets and prose writers of the 20th century. The Ingeborg Bachmann Prize has been awarded annually in her honor since 1977. Vicky Krieps (39) and Ronald Zehrfeld (46) were in front of the camera.

“Roter Himmel” by Christian Petzold (62, Munich-“Polizeiruf 110”) is another of the five German or partly German productions in a Competition. Among other things, Paula Beer (27) and ex-“Police call 110”-Star Matthias Brandt (61) in front of the camera.
