This time, Pascal Drampe, details the difficult beginnings of the dismantling of illegal gold panning sites. Blanco knows them well since he first worked in Saint-Laurent du Maroni then in Cayenne.
He does not hide it, Pascal Drampe is inspired by his past within the national police to write the plot of his novels. This time, he gives the fictionalized version of a drama that took place in 2012: the tragic death of two gendarmes in Dorlin (Maripasoula) killed by the Manoelzinho gang.
