This shows that many people’s awareness is very poor and they do not have the habit of keeping the environment clean in public places. While children are conscious and ask their parents where to throw trash, adults casually throw garbage on the street. Adults are not exemplary, how can they teach children?
“After each event, around the basa fish tower in Chau Doc City is full of trash. Some people say that because it’s too crowded, it’s also difficult to find a place with a trash can. I don’t think so, that’s just It’s just an excuse,” said Mr. Tran Van Giau (living in Chau Phu district, An Giang province).
According to Mr. Giau, when he finished eating, he always kept garbage on hand. If they can’t find a trash can, they’ll keep it until they find a new one. Today, many people still have the habit of throwing it away.

Do Van Tra, an environmental sanitation worker (An Giang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company) said he has been doing this job for more than 16 years. On holidays, Tet, following the influx of people, urban environmental workers and sisters come in to clean the streets is a familiar job.
