What if Change? Mental health, life purpose

It is by valuing our strengths, capacities and abilities that we will rise from falls, learning from mistakes, transforming them into opportunities for growth and well-being.

We are looking to feel peace, well-being and happiness, but it seems that we are looking for it in the wrong places, in the wrong way or with people who remind us that it is not in that direction.

In life there are many experiences that will teach us, which can take the form of problems, depression, illness, abandonment, rejection, ridicule or anxiety.

We will also learn from those experiences that are full of joy, gratitude, love, forgiveness, enjoyment and well-being, and any of them will have positive or negative effects on us. Everything will depend on how we face, manage and perceive life, which will be tied to our system of thought and the philosophy of life that we have decided to lead.

We only teach what we know and have learned. If learning is through pain and we don’t know how to process it, our lives will be marked by frustration and discomfort. If we learned that problems can be solved, this is how we will develop and resiliently get ahead, with adversities and vicissitudes.

It is by valuing our strengths, capacities and abilities that we will rise from falls, learning from mistakes, transforming them into opportunities for growth and well-being.

Destigmatize Mental Health

It is increasingly necessary to become aware of the importance of mental health and stop considering it a taboo.

Mental health is a way of life, just like physical or spiritual health. It is made up of healthy habits, conscious thoughts of the present moment, self-knowledge and the change of system of thoughts. How regarding we reflect a little and ask ourselves:

Why is it so normal for many people to go to a gym, a plastic surgeon, a stylist or a nutritionist to enhance the beauty of their body and feel healthy and not to go to a mental health specialist to talk regarding what is wrong? that torments, traumatizes, hurts or fears, because if she does they will think she is crazy?

Why, when someone goes to a psychologist to vent their sorrows, overcome grief, sadness or anxiety and/or nourish themselves with empowering and healing tools, is they generally criticized, judged or questioned if what they are really looking for is well-being?

Why are psychologists expected to be people with a perfect life and without problems and why do they make this one of the reasons why many exempt themselves from attending therapy “because they are not going to tell another man or woman their problems? , when they know that they need to properly manage their emotions, heal their disorders and overcome traumas?

All these arguments are the ones that have stigmatized mental health and the search for help, causing many people to remain silent regarding what is happening to them internally:

1. Children, young people and adults are often distracted from seeking help.

2. Couples, in the midst of serious difficulties, refuse to speak, until the divorce arrives and the children suffer its effects, falling into drugs, distorted behaviors, depression and anxiety.

3. Families are destroyed by lack of communication, understanding, compassion and expression of affection.

4. Children grow up hating their parents, full of anxiety, depression, or threaten life due to their low self-esteem, feeling rejected, abandoned, or questioned because of their sexual tendencies or because they don’t fit into society.

It is time to take responsibility for yourself and become aware of the positive effects of investing in mental health, both individually and as a couple, family or organizationally to strengthen mental and spiritual health.

Otherwise, the figures for abuse, violence, aggressiveness, anger, depression, anxiety and/or suicide will continue to increase, which would be very unfortunate, when it comes to situations that can be dealt with in a timely manner.

More mental health more inner peace

Self-awareness is key to enjoying excellent mental health. This connection with the Inner Being and the recognition that neither circumstances, nor the past, nor old patterns determine the future of someone’s life, is what begins a process of interior and spiritual transformation. This transformation extends to the environment, the family, the company and society.

Inner peace is a symptom of mental health and is achieved by cultivating inner silence, through:

· The meditation.

· Conscious breathing.

· Contemplation.

· The sentence.

· Gratitude

· The compassion

· The practice of Mindfulness

The transformation of system of thought

The Physical Exercises

· Self-care

The approach to God

· The sincere and open conversation

Full awareness of the present moment

They are practices that feed the spirit, mind, body and soul, spaces from where you can enjoy mental health.
