Ronaldo and Saudi Arabia deal.. Nasrallah’s comment video ignites interaction

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists circulated on social media a video clip of a speech by Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, regarding the Portuguese player, Cristiano Ronaldo, and his attraction by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at a time when Lebanon needs support, which sparked wide interaction.

Nasrallah said in the circulating video clip, which was broadcast by Hezbollah’s Al-Manar channel: “Is Lebanon more important to Europe than Egypt? Is Lebanon more important to Saudi Arabia than Egypt? Is Lebanon more important to the Gulf than Egypt? What is missing from the Gulf countries is that 100 billion, 200 billion, 300 billion come, calculating their situation.” They play futbol…”

And he continued, saying: “And it is rising in an Arab country on the brink of collapse, which means it is our misfortune that in Egypt, despite the fact that there are great, important, respected and international players, we have neither Ronaldo nor Messi. It is noteworthy that Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo joined the ranks of the Saudi club Al-Nasr, in a free transfer deal that extends until 2025, and it was decided that the 37-year-old star would wear the number 7 shirt with the club.
