Ukrainian game developer GSC Game World has released new screenshots of its currently developing game ‘STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl’ (Stalker 2).
The Stalker series of GSC Game World is a game in the genre that combines FPS and RPG, and has received good reviews for its high-quality artificial intelligence, graphics, and immersive combat system. Stalker 2 is a new series released in 13 years, and it is a game that is attracting attention because developers are continuing their work even in difficult situations due to the ongoing Ukrainian-Russian war that broke out in 2022.
There are a total of four Stalker 2 screenshots released this time, and they seem to have captured the actual game scene. As a game made with the latest game engine ‘Unreal Engine 5’, the graphics of guns, characters, and landmarks are expressed so elaborately that they feel like real life.
In each screenshot, the main character is holding a different type of firearm. In Stalker 2, a total of 30 types of weapons are provided and each can be modified, so it is expected to be able to fight in a variety of ways.
Meanwhile, Stalker 2 is scheduled to be released within 2023 and will be released in Korea through H2 Interactive. Korean subtitles are provided as standard.
