Naomi Watts/Nora Brannock in the series The Watcher that you may have seen on Netflix and if not, no big deal. To summarize: a series that subverts my basic belief that those who wear a lot of white cashmere should be protected from all evil.

They say that what you do on the first day of the year will determine what your year will look like. I don’t know how I feel regarding it, but I try on the first day of the year (Hebrew, civil and on my birthday) to go see a sunset in the sea, just in case. On the same weight, if the style we choose to wear at the beginning of the year will determine the general atmosphere of the year that awaits us, then I’m betting on the style of Naomi Watts in the series “The Watcher” on Netflix. The series is indeed a light horror series, but the wardrobe of Nora Brannock (the character Watts plays) is a completely different story: Nora is a ceramic artist who exhibits in exhibitions and who has just left Manhattan with her family in favor of living in a wealthy suburb. Her wardrobe is adapted to the new lifestyle and is made of high-quality textile items in bright colors. And when I say “bright” I mean the whole wide range between white and cream. Maybe a few touches of wheat here and there. The cornerstones of Nora’s wardrobe are knitwear, trench coats and tennis clothes.
Why are we in a hurry to adopt such a trend?
A. Because it’s not a trend, it’s a classic.
B. It’s not just a classic, it’s a classic that makes you look rich (or at least free time).
third. If they were to investigate such things, I suppose they would find that when you wear bright clothes you are more relaxed, you move more slowly (if only to avoid getting dirty) and you pay more attention to the small details around you.
Some tricks Menorah/Naomi can adopt:
1. Boldly combine white and cream.
2. Wear white even in winter.
3. Don’t be afraid to wear white pants (what’s more: it’s worth taking advantage of the trend of platform shoes that will keep the hems of the pants away from the sidewalk).
4. The jewelry that works best with white clothes is gold jewelry.

Above Nora’s wardrobe float the wardrobes of the heroines of Nancy Myers’ films: Diane Keaton in something got to give, obviously, but it seems to me that it all started with the wardrobe of Elizabeth James (the late Natasha Richardson), the mother in the movie the parent trap from 1998.

If you wear white, the right thing would be to dance alone.
