Ben Harpur fought back for New York (25-14-7), which suffered only its second regulation loss in its last ten games (6-2-2). The Guardian Igor Shesterkin made 24 saves.

Dylan Cozens cut early in overtime to give the Buffalo Sabers a 3-2 win over the New York Islanders at KeyBank Center.
Alex cloth et Victor Olofsson scored in regulation for Buffalo (22-19-3), which has won only twice in its last seven games (2-4-1). Rasmus Dahlin had two assists, while the goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen blocked 24 pucks.
Brock Nelson et Matt Martin hit the mark for New York (23-19-5), which suffered a seventh loss in its last eight meetings (1-4-3). The Guardian Ilya Sorokin made 42 saves on 45 throws.

Jalen Chatfield had its first two-point game in the NHL and the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Minnesota Wild 5-2 at PNC Arena.
Chatfield, a 26-year-old defender, had a goal and an assist, as did his teammates Martin Necas et Brady Skei. Brent Burns et Teuvo Teravainen also scored for Carolina (28-9-8), which has won three of its last four games (3-0-1). Andrei Svechnikov amassed two assists, while in front of the cage, Frederik Andersen repelled 29 shots.

Trevor Zegras, Adam Henrique et Cam Fowler each had a goal and an assist as the Anaheim Ducks beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-3 at Nationwide Arena.
Simon Benoit et Max Jones also scored for Anaheim (13-28-5), which won its first victory in six games (1-4-1). Troy Terry et Isaac Lundestrom raised two assists each. The Guardian Anthony Carpenter allowed three goals on 15 shots in the first period and gave way to John Gibson Secondly. The latter made 18 saves on 18 shots.
