It’s no use being committed within the sport you’re dedicated to — nutrition is also important to achieve positive results in terms of weight loss. However, many people feel doubts when it comes to eating before doing their sport.
“It is better not to run away from what is simple. The strategies are specific and change according to the modality and time. In general, the diet has to be complete, contain macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins and lipids). We mention carbohydrates because they provide energy quickly and, like all nutrients, cannot be neglected”, explains the professor of the nutrition course at the University Center of Brasília (CEUB), Michelle Ferro.
