This Lunar New Year 2023, the people of the Capital should not ignore 31 fireworks spots in the inner and suburban districts, with their loved ones to wish for a happy and good new year.
At New Year’s Eve, fireworks are shot into the sky as a form of saying goodbye to the old year and banishing bad luck to welcome a good new year. Many people also believe that those who see the first fireworks go off will receive good luck in the coming year.
For a long time, fireworks on New Year’s Eve have been welcomed by people across the country in general and the capital in particular. In Hanoi, the City People’s Committee issued the plan No. 06/KH-UBND on organizing fireworks on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit in 2023 at 31 points in inner and suburban districts. Funds from socialization sources are mobilized from units, organizations and enterprises. In particular, Sword Lake – the central place to organize major cultural activities of the capital will have two high-altitude fireworks battlegrounds, and people welcome the new year of the Year of the Rabbit 2023, including: opposite the Newspaper Office. New Hanoi and the point opposite Hanoi Post Office.
It is known that Vietnam Public Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PVcomBank) is the main sponsor for these two high-altitude fireworks battlegrounds. Sharing regarding accompanying meaningful activities in the New Year’s Eve moment with the people of the capital, a representative of the Bank said: “Like the bright and colorful light of fireworks, PVcomBank wishes to bring a year of happiness. 4 locations for high-altitude fireworks combined with low-range fireworks and firebending include: In front of the new Hanoi newspaper office; In front of Hanoi Post Office (Hoan Kiem district); Lac Long Quan flower garden, in front of the People’s Committee of Tay Ho district and F1 racetrack campus, Phu Do ward, Nam Tu Liem district.
3 locations for high-altitude and low-range fireworks include: Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton Monument Island (Thong Thong Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District); Van Quan lake, Van Quan ward, Ha Dong district and Son Tay ancient citadel (Son Tay town).
