Festival Dong Cuong Temple Held in January every year. The festival opens with the buffalo slaughtering ceremony, which is performed at the first moment of the first day of the year.

The procession of the Mother statue to the river to burn incense to offer sacrifices to the soul of General Ha Dac begins at 8 am. Dong Cuong Temple, also known as the Temple of the Guardian God, Dong Quang, is located in the territory of Ben Den village, Dong Cuong commune, Van Yen district, Yen Bai province.

According to “Dai Nam Nhat Thong Chi,” Dong Cuong Temple worships Cao Quan Dai Vuong, known as Tho Lenh and Thach Khanh, who have traveled around the world to find precious remedies to cure people’s diseases.
