At the moment, HAGL’s signing with Carabao is considered a violation of the Professional Football Regulations on the exclusive industry in its obligations to sponsors.

VPF also said that if HAGL violates the Regulations of Professional Football, it will be fined “70 million VND for the first violation, 140 million for the second time and the maximum level will be a ban (for example, playing in the absence of an audience or banned from playing at home)”.
According to VPF, once the announcement has been made, clubs should comply with the regulations “because the sponsor can completely penalize the contract, which will greatly affect the interests of the tournament and all 13 participating clubs, which are shareholders of VPF”. The VPF side hopes this will not happen and recommends that clubs should carefully study the notices as well as the Tournament Regulations to avoid conflicts of interest between the parties.
