President Nicolas Maduro assured that Venezuela would “stole“the crown of miss Universeadding to the avalanche of criticism that arose following the triumph of the American R’Bonney Gabriel.
“They stole our Miss Universe, Amanda Dudamel won streetWell, it can’t be a robbery like that, she’s from Petare, she does community work there in Petare,” Maduro said during an act in Caracas.
Who is Amanda Dudamel?
Fashion designer and social activist, Amanda Dudamel, daughter of former Vinotinto coach Rafael Dudamel, was considered one of the favorites to win the crown, however R’Bonney Gabriel was crowned the most beautiful woman in the world on Saturday.
Dudamel, 23, was the first runner-up at the Miss Universe ceremony held in New Orleans, United States, which sparked controversial reactions that question the verdict.
Without alluding to the criticism of Miss Universe, Dudamel, who was crowned Miss Venezuela in 2021 In a modest ceremony marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, he thanked for his part the support of the fans of the contest that has given Venezuela seven universal crowns.

Texas Representative R’Bonney Gabriel is 28 years old and a sustainable fashion designer.
Venezuela has not won the Miss Universe since 2013when it was crowned Maria Gabriela Islerone of the current directives of Miss Venezuela.
