FC Bayern: A goalkeeper of all things: bloody incident in training Sports

When it comes to goalkeepers, FC Bayern is just nuts at the moment…

As if the poker around Gladbach’s Yann Sommer (34) wasn’t nerve-wracking enough, the record champions also had a brief moment of shock in their own ranks on Tuesday.

Blood goalkeeper at Bayern training!

In the middle of the morning session, Johannes Schenk (20) suddenly held his hand in front of his pain-contorted face. The goalkeeping talent, who signed his first professional contract last summer and had previously been allowed to train regularly with the first team, was bleeding profusely from the nose.

A hard shot in the face was to blame.

With a lot of blood all over his face, Schenk immediately went to the team physios Gerry Hoffmann and Florian Brandner, who looked following him on the golf cart for the training utensils.

Since a simple handkerchief was not enough to stop the heavy bleeding, Schenk finally got tampons in his nostrils.

A short time later, the young goalkeeper was able to mingle with his colleagues once more. Coach Julian Nagelsmann (35) asked regarding his blood keeper following his return. The relieving feedback: all good!

Ripe is live on 01/16/2023 Klopp crisis and Bayern’s next BVB poaching?

Important for Bavaria! After Manuel Neuer (36) broke his shin, Schenk is currently the number 2 goalkeeper behind Sven Ulreich (34).

The Nagelsmanns might not have used another failure between the posts before their return to the league on Friday (8.30 p.m.) in Leipzig.
