Today, Monday, the Iraqi national team received congratulations on the occasion of its victory over its Qatari counterpart, with two goals to one, and its qualification for the 25th Gulf Final.

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a, congratulated Al-Sudani, for the national team’s qualification to the 25th Gulf Cup final.
Al-Sudani said in a tweet to him, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We congratulate the champions of our team and congratulate our sports fans on the victory of our lions and their qualification for the finals of the 25th Gulf Championship.”
He also congratulated Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, in a tweet followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Congratulations to our national team and our people for this victory,” wishing “success in the final match.”
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi blessed our national team for qualifying for the 25th Gulf Final.
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, congratulated the Iraqi people and the sports fans on the precious victory of the national team over its Qatari counterpart (2-1) and its qualification for the 25th Gulf Final.
The head of the Wisdom Movement, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, congratulated the Iraqi team for winning.
He said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Our national football team is still overwhelmed with joy and pleasure as it continues its victories in the 25th Gulf Championship currently held in Basratna Al-Fayhaa, the latest of which is its victory over its Qatari brother and its qualification to the final match, while we congratulate our beloved people.” With this victory, we all hope that our lions will continue their brilliance and win the title.”
He concluded his statement by saying: “Congratulations to our team and our people, and better luck to the rest of the sister teams.”
Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Al-Abbasi also congratulated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “our national team and our dear people for the deserved victory over the brotherly Qatari team and its qualification for the 25th Gulf Final.”
He expressed his hope to “win the championship cup, which has a great impact and a special character, as it is held on the land of Basra Governorate.”
The head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, congratulated the national team on winning.
He said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “I congratulate our dear Iraqi people and our national team for its football victory over the brotherly Qatari team, asking God Almighty that the Lions of Mesopotamia win the Gulf Cup championship in the final match.”
