Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani affirmed today, Monday, that the government’s ministerial curriculum included sponsoring components and strengthening civil peace.
The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani received, today, the Iraqi National Dialogue Project team sponsored by the European Foundation for Dialogue and Development, headed by Alaa al-Bahadli, in the presence of a number of the Prime Minister’s advisors. “.
He added, “The delegation reviewed the stages of the Iraqi national dialogue project, which was launched in 2019, and aims at a comprehensive dialogue between the spectrum of the Iraqi people, and requested permission to proceed with the second phase of the project, which will take two years.”
Al-Sudani welcomed the delegation and blessed their efforts in the comprehensive national dialogue project, which aims to build peace, consolidate peaceful coexistence, and strengthen the umbrella of common citizenship for all segments of the Iraqi people, expressing his support for “the launch of the second phase of the project.”
He emphasized that “the government’s ministerial platform included sponsorship of components, promotion of civil peace, and adoption of the dialogue approach, in addition to other priorities related to combating corruption and combating poverty.”
