Death rituals create a very sad situation for people. We can see people who are unable to accept the fact that the person they love the most is no longer with them. But unlike all this, in England there was a posthumous ceremony. An old woman called Sandy Wood had prepared a grand surprise for those who came to participate in the ceremony.
65-year-old Sandy Wood, who had been suffering from cancer for years, had foreseen her death. But she didn’t like to see those who came to see her off sitting sad, and commissioned a dance troupe to play a flash mob at her posthumous ceremony.
During the post-mortem ceremony in the church, people were surprised to see four people who were sitting in different parts and came forward following changing their jackets. Soon they started dancing together. Seeing this, the faces of those who came to the ceremony changed from sadness to laughter.
Sandy had approached several troupes earlier but none were willing to play a flash mob at the posthumous ceremony. Finally, they found a group called Flaming Feathers to dance through social media.
Along with this, they spent around 10 lakh rupees and made many preparations for this. This will include a coffin decorated with her favorite shoes and handbags. Close friend Sam says Sandy’s wish is for her loved ones to always remember her posthumously with joy.
