A 23-year-old woman who lost her parents in the Russian attack on a residential building in Dnipro, Ukraine, whose photo of her in the center of the building has gone viral, wanted to take stock of what she has lived.

On social networks, photographers on the spot relayed the image of a lady waiting for the rescue teams, from the top of her destroyed home.

In shock, she saw the extent of the devastation and held Christmas decorations in her hands.
Having gone viral once morest her will, the woman in her twenties wrote a letter relayed by several media in Eastern Europe.
“I don’t know where my parents are. [Les secouristes] say they saw them alive, but I’m sure they were in the kitchen, which was totally destroyed, she said. I didn’t want to leave my accommodation; I wanted to find my parents. I understand that my cat is also dead”.
The Ukrainian, who was already in mourning for the death of her husband on the front four months ago, continues her letter by recalling the kindness of her parents.
“My dad used to tell me jokes earlier. I took photos of animals with my mother. We then ate all around the table, ”she says.
Russia launched a salvo of missiles on several Ukrainian cities on Saturday, and the deadliest attack took place in Dnipro, which left at least 20 dead. 35 people are still missing.
“Twenty innocent victims,” lamented the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, specifying that 73 people had been injured.

“Relief operations are continuing. The fate of more than 40 people remains unknown,” he added.
A video posted by Ukrainian rescue services on Facebook and Telegram showed rescuers digging through the rubble of the building overnight.
A previous report released overnight reported at least 14 people killed, including a 15-year-old girl, and 64 injured in the bombing of this building. Rescuers then managed to extract 38 survivors from the rubble.

According to the Ukrainian presidency, between 100 and 200 people are homeless as a result of this strike, and some 1,700 inhabitants of Dnipro were without electricity and heating.
