Vikings’ Patrick Peterson brutally destroys Kyler Murray: “He doesn’t care about nobody but himself”

Minnesota Vikings CB Patrick Peterson went all out once morest former teammate Kyler MurrayQB of the Arizona Cardinalswho he called selfish. During his Wednesday podcast, the Vikings player was harsh in his criticism of Murray.

Peterson co-hosts the All Things Covered podcast with Bryant McFaddenand in the most recent episode they discussed the Cardinals’ disappointing season and the alleged problems between Cards coach Kliff Kingsbury and Murray.

Both criticized the Arizona QB’s attitude

McFadden said it appears Kyler Murray “doesn’t care” regarding his head coachsomething Peterson readily agreed with, and described him as someone with too big of an ego who is hurting his team.

“Kyler Murray doesn’t care regarding anyone but Kyler Murray,” Peterson said. “That’s a fact,” added Patrick, who played with Murray for two seasons (2019 and 2020)where he got to know the Cardinals QB’s personality and commitment level.

Arizona has it tough to make Playoffs

Although there are still six games to go, the road to the Playoffs is very complicated for the Cardsespecially because of their 4-8 record, which complicates their prospects. Murray has so far 2,359 yards (18th), 14 TDs (tied-15th), 7 INTs (tied-18th) but with a QBR of 50.2 (22nd).

Via social media, Murray responds to his former teammate comments: “This isn’t true…you on some weird shit @p2 you got my number, if you really felt like this as a “big bro” or “mentor” you supposed to call me and tell me, not drag me so your podcast can grow…

Meanwhile, Peterson, who spent the first 10 years of his career at Arizona, has three interceptions in 11 games with the Vikings this season.
