A road that has been closed for 17 years has been reopened on the Karkh side of Baghdad

In a statement received by Alsumaria News, the leadership stated that, “In implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and within the plan drawn up to open roads and lift checkpoints, with the aim of easing traffic, lifting the burden on citizens and reducing their suffering, the committees in charge of opening roads continue their daily duties in the capital.”

She added, “A closed road has been opened since 2006 within the (Al-Harithiya / Al-Kindi Street) area, and another road in (Al-Mansour) area. This came following they were evaluated from the security side.”
