AWS users can now launch Avalanche nodes

The developer behind the Avalanche blockchain, Ava Labs will offer crypto infrastructure through Amazon Web Services (AWS), according to an announcement on Wednesday. The goal is to promote even better institutional and governmental acceptance of the blockchain. The Avalanche blockchain and the so-called Subnets are perfect for developing Web3 games or issuing NFTs. Subnets are specifically customized individual blockchains built on the Avalanche blockchain, with their own rules and their own token.

Avalanche and Amazon plan for the long term

It’s tied to Amazon initial within the framework, Ava Labs will offer the Subnet launch service on the AWS Marketplace. So any company or institution can entrust Ava Labs with the launch of a new Subnet through the AWS platform. On behalf of AWS, the director responsible for startups stated that their goal is to deliver the best technology to any company or government institution, and with the help of Avalanche, they will be able to do this even easier. In addition, thanks to the AWS partnership, Avalanche will be able to reach new customer segments and sectors.

From now on, Avalanche nodes can also run in AWS GovCloud, which means that government organizations can use Avalance technology while meeting even stricter data security conditions. According to Ava Labs founder Emin Gün Sirer, this is a huge step. After all, in this way, developers can configure a node and test network almost anywhere, so huge opportunities open up for users. In order to strengthen the cooperation between AWS and Ava Labs, the latter company also joins the AWS Activate and AWS Partner Network networks. AWS Activate supports technology startups, while the AWS Partner Network provides support opportunities and growth tools for its members. And from now on, AWS will also be an active player in the Avalanche community. So they will be there at the Avalanche Summit or at the various Avalanche developer meetings.
