“The largest loss of wealth in history.” Musk sets a record

US President Joe Biden denied, on Tuesday, his knowledge of the transfer of classified documents to an office he occupied during his work as vice president during the Barack Obama administration.

The president said he did not know what was in the documents, adding, “I was briefed on the documents and I was surprised when I learned that there were government records that were transferred to this office.”

And lawyers for US President Joe Biden announced, on Monday, the discovery of secret government documents in a private office, from when Biden was former vice president, Barack Obama, last fall, according toCNN.

Biden’s lawyers say they found the government materials in November while locking down an office at the Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, in Washington, D.C., that Biden used during his relationship with the University of Pennsylvania, where he was professor emeritus from 2017 to 2019.

“The White House is cooperating with the National Archives and the Department of Justice regarding the discovery of what appear to be Obama-Biden administration records, including a small number of classified documents,” Richard Sauber, special counsel to President Biden, said in a statement.

CNN said the material included some top-secret files with the tag “fragmented sensitive information,” also known as SCI, which is used for highly sensitive information obtained from intelligence sources.

The source told the network that following the discovery, Biden’s lawyers immediately contacted the National Archives and Records Administration, which began looking into the matter. The source said that the Biden team cooperated with the administration, which later viewed the situation as a mistake due to the lack of document guarantees.
