Kuwait’s ALAFCO transfers 20-aircraft purchase agreement with Boeing to Macquarie via Reuters

KUWAIT (Archyde.com) – Alafco Aircraft Finance and Leasing Company said on Wednesday it had completed the transfer of its agreement with Boeing (NYSE:) for 20 B737-8 MAX aircraft to Macquarie.

ALAFCO said in a statement to the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange that this step will result in an increase in cash and cash equivalents by $70 million, indicating that these numbers will be reflected in the company’s results in the second quarter of its fiscal year 2022-2023.
