Emirates News Agency – The Gambian Minister of Foreign Affairs praises the achievements of the “Islamic Affairs and Endowments”

ABU DHABI, 11th January, 2020 (WAM) — Dr. Mamadou Tangara, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of The Gambia, praised the achievements of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments and its ability to harness modern technology and artificial intelligence to deliver its services to society.

During his visit to the Authority’s headquarters, His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the UAE and its wise leadership, appreciating the strong and close communication and relations between the two countries and the two friendly peoples.

For his part, His Excellency Mohammed Matar Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, welcomed the minister and his accompanying delegation, which included His Excellency Fafa Sanyang, Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia to the country, and thanked them for the visit, which reflects the depth of the extended relations between the two countries, leadership and people, stressing the authority’s keenness to translate the directives of Wise leadership by communicating the human values ​​that our Islamic religion affirms, and consolidating the values ​​of tolerance, coexistence and peace.

His Excellency gave the Minister a presentation on the Authority’s achievements and its strategy in achieving its mission locally and globally, using the finest means that enable it to deliver its services to all peoples in many languages ​​through its various communication platforms, stressing the great support that the Authority enjoys from the wise leadership of the state, which enabled it to keep pace with civilization. keeping pace with the changes of the times.
