NASA broadcasts incredible images – La Nouvelle Tribune

The American space agency has just published incredible pictures of the sun. It’s the Satellite Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) in orbit around the Earth which made it possible to observe the giant star in all its splendour. The images are simply stunning and they were shot in Ultra High Definition (4K). In an hour-long video posted on Youtube, the NASA shows solar activity with unprecedented features.

To obtain these spectacular images, the Satellite Solar Dynamics Observatory filmed the sun for 133 days, completing a decades-long project. Indeed, the SDO was launched in 2010 and the satellite subsequently filmed activity around the sun from August 12 to December 22.

The Satellite Solar Dynamics Observatory is a marvel of technology that used state-of-the-art equipment to film the sun. Among these tools, there is a system specialized in the extreme ultraviolet, a helioseismic and magnetic imager, an atmospheric imagery set.

It is thanks to this formidable device that NASA has made breathtakingly clear images available to the general public. Remember that the SDO is in orbit around the Earth at an altitude of 35,786 kilometers. According to the US space agency, the Satellite Solar Dynamics Observatory will perform other missions. He greatly contributed to studying how the magnetic fields emitted by the sun would influence the solar system.
