When Herlin and Helena were one and a half years old, the shadow of mother disappeared. More than a year, the lamp of love that is father has been extinguished. Now they will be the guardian angels of the twins who are only two and a half years old. Hern and Helena’s father, Jobi, has been everything since cancer took their mother, Tina, a year ago. Accidentally, Jobi also succumbed to death and the children were completely alone.
Twins were born following 12 years of waiting for couple Tina and Jobi from Konni Anakuthi. Tina was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was pregnant. Then in the seventh month, the children were surgically removed.
Tina and Jobi lived in Delhi. Tina came home following being diagnosed with cancer and recovered her health following a year of treatment. However, cancer soon took hold of Tina’s lungs. Despite months of treatment, Tina succumbed to her death on January 19, 2022. Then Jobi and his children moved to his sister Ginsi Mathew’s house in Koduman.
An unexpected tragedy happened when he started a business in Kodumann and was slowly settling into life with his children. The children are now in the care of Ginsy and her family, who have held Herlin and Helena by the hand since the day Tina was diagnosed. Jobi’s body will be cremated today at Emmanuel Marthomma Church.
