Jill Rogers from Phoenix mightn’t believe who she saw sitting on a car. Eventually she filmed the coyote.
Phoenix (Arizona) – “When I turned the corner and saw him, I was like, ‘What the hell is that on the car?'” Jill Rogers wrote these words in a Facebook comment under her video. The woman witnessed one in Phoenix curious become a drama.
Last week, Rogers was driving around her neighborhood when she faltered for a moment. From afar she might be sitting on a parked car, but didn’t recognize it at first.
When the woman realized what it was, she grabbed her camera in fascination. As Rogers drove on, she filmed her object of desire. A coyote sat majestically on top of the parked car.
What the wild Tier did there was a mystery to the observer. “Maybe he’s on the lookout for a roadrunner, beep beep,” Rogers wrote in her humorous Facebook-Posting.
In another sub-comment, the lady explained, “I alerted my neighborhood as soon as I saw this. To get people to keep their pets safe.”

The clip went viral on Facebook and was shared tens of thousands of times. Someone, who shared the video on TikTok eventually reached an audience of millions.
With all the fascination with the silly stuff, it’s important to remember that coyotes are dangerous wildlife. Last month, one of the four-legged friends made headlines in Los Angeles following attacking a two-year-old girl.
After weeks of searching, the animal was finally found and euthanized. According to the Los Angeles Times In 2022, at least seven people were attacked by coyotes in Los Angeles County alone.
So Jill Rogers did the right thing when she quickly backed away from the animal in her car.
