The other day, the new release date for the survival horror sim “The Forest” was decided on February 23, 2023, “Sons of the Forest”, a sequel to the survival horror sim “The Forest”. We have released a hands-on preview video that includes gameplay.
Beginning with the opening scene of an emergency landing on a mysterious island, a full-fledged AI companion “Calvin” (a soldier left behind on the island), communication with “Calvin” using hand-drawn notes, mutants and humans. Check out the latest footage below for some interesting details, including a complex ecosystem including cannibals, authentic crafting elements, expansive locations including dense forests, and high-quality visuals.
“Sons of the Forest” is an open-world survival horror simulator that tells the story of a protagonist who is sent to a hellish remote island infested with cannibalism in search of a missing billionaire. Combat, weapons including pistols, axes, and stun batons, fire-starting and building construction, seasons that change between spring and summer, and co-op play.
