Benmoussa: 77% of students cannot read a text in Arabic
Only 23% of students can read a text composed of 80 words in Arabic fluently, 30% can read a text of 15 words in French and 13% know how to perform a simple division operation, regretted Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education , preschool and Sports . Payment deadlines: the bill finally passed
Bill n°69-21 on payment terms, amending law n°015-95, was scheduled for vote by the productive sectors commission on Monday 9 January. Breaches of the law will be punished with a fine equivalent to the amount of Bank Al-Maghrib’s key rate, which is currently 2.5%, increased by 0.85% for each month or fraction of a month of delay. This fine (article 78-3) does not apply to invoices issued before January 1, 2025 and whose amount is less than or equal to 10,000 MAD including tax. Legal and natural persons with a turnover of more than 2 million DH will be required to submit a quarterly electronic declaration to the tax services before the end of the month following the expiration of the quarter.
Green hydrogen: the next challenges

The professional real estate sector is in bad shape.
