Only 1,800 of 8,000 applicants entered Medicine at UdeG

In the 2023-A school calendar of the University of Guadalajara, which begins this month, more than 8,000 young people sought a medical career and only 1,800 managed to enter, acknowledges the School Control coordinator of the university, Laura Puebla.
In contrast, the less demanded careers stand out.
“And who are then the races with the fewest number of applicants? There is this wonderful degree in Construction of La Paz y Seguridad that we need so much, Engineering in Molecular Design of Materials, Engineering in Geophysics and Engineering in natural and agricultural resources that is given in the university center of the south coast”.
The coordinator acknowledges that there was low demand in the new university centers of Tlaquepaque and Chapala. (By Claudia Manuela Pérez)
