The Casablanca Stock Exchange kept a bullish course, Monday at the close, the MASI having increased by 0.91%, to 9,806.32 points (pts).
The MSI 20, an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.9%, to 782.33 pts, while the Casablanca ESG 10 gained 0.94%, to 738.47 pts.
On the international side, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 and the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid rose respectively by 0.96%, to 8,940.63 pts and 1.05%, to 8,179.7 pts. In terms of sectors, the index of portfolio-holding companies recorded the highest increase (+5.56%), ahead of telecommunications (+3.33%), and insurance (+2.73%). %).
The chemicals sector showed the largest decline (-5.85%), followed by forestry and paper (-3.46%), and leisure and hotels (-3.32%). The overall volume of trade was 49.9 million dirhams (MDH) made entirely on the Central market. The most active stocks were Attijariwafa Bank, with a transaction flow of 27.03 MDH, followed by Sodep-Marsa Maroc (4.96 MDH) and Bcp (3.69 MDH).
As for market capitalization, it stood at nearly 514.54 billion dirhams (MMDH).
On an individual level, Wafa Assurance (+5.99% to 3,326 dirhams (DH)), Minière Touissit (+5.96% to 1,546 DH), Sanlam Morocco (+5.71% to 889 DH), Delta Holding ( +5.63% to 21.4 DH) and Auto Hall (+4.67% to 65.94 DH) posted the highest increases.
Conversely, the biggest drops were recorded by Stokvis Nord Afrique (-6% to 12.38 DH), Snep (-5.98% to 507.7 DH), Stroc Industrie (-5.92% to 37.5 DH), Atlantasanad (-5.42% to 113.5 DH) and Colorado (-4.98% to 40.6 DH).
