The manager of Le Coq d’Harlembois located in Harelbeke (West Flanders) shared images on Facebook of a fight that broke out in the party room of his brewery. According to him, the guests and the bride and groom would then have left the place without paying the bill: “A wedding with people of Croatian origin who forgot to pay for their party. When a fight started following midnight instead of an opening dance, all those people disappeared without a trace. If anyone knows these people, please tell them that it is the custom in Belgium to pay for a wedding party. Please share so maybe they can rectify their oversight,” Jo wrote.
