OPPO Achieves Its Fastest Rollout With ColorOS 13 Operating System Which Ensures Better Software Update Starting From 2023

ColorOS 13 launched faster than any other release in operating system history

OPPO included four major ColorOS updates with five years of patches to upgrade selected flagship and flagship phone systems starting in 2023

OPPO has officially announced ColorOS 13, faster than any previous version in the history of its operating systems. The company has also expanded its update policy for ColorOS to ensure four major Android updates with five years of patches for select flagship and flagship operating systems starting in 2023.

ColorOS 13 is the latest Android operating system from OPPO. Designed to deliver a simple and convenient experience with an all-new Aquamorphic design, ColorOS 13 includes a host of great features such as Always-On Display, or AOD, multi-monitor connectivity and home screen management technology that enable smart and easy usability for customers around the world.

Since its launch on August 18, 2022, ColorOS 13 has been used in 33 smartphone models across the various markets in which OPPO operates, making it the system that has undergone the fastest and largest update in the history of ColorOS. During the same time frame of four months following the official release, more than 50% of phone models were compatible with ColorOS 13 (data from August 18 to December 18, 2022) compared to ColorOS 12 (data from October 11, 2021 to February 11, 2022), where Three times more users are now enjoying the advanced operating system, ColorOS 13, than ColorOS 12 during the same period.

Faster rollout with ColorOS 13

OPPO also announced the new ColorOS update policy. This includes a commitment to deliver four major ColorOS updates and five years of regular security patches for selected flagship models starting in 2023. Through these continuous updates, OPPO aims to deliver more sustainable and stable smart experiences to users around the world through continuous upgrades of ColorOS operating systems.
