Emirates News Agency – Gold gains $10 and climbs towards its highest level since last May

Capitals, January 9 / WAM / Global gold prices rose during today’s trading, and gained more than $10 to continue their rise towards their highest levels since last May.
And the prices of the yellow metal increased in spot transactions by 0.56%, or the equivalent of $ 10.34, to reach $ 1876.33 an ounce, according to global market data, by “09:15 am UAE time.”
On the other hand, gold futures contracts for February delivery 2023 rose by 0.6%, equivalent to $11.3, to reach $1881.05 an ounce.
In terms of other precious metals, silver rose 0.65% to $24.14 an ounce, palladium rose 0.47% to $1820.28, while platinum fell 0.61% to $1101.65.
