CCP Games shared the roadmap for his galactic MMO EVE Onlinewhich celebrates its 20th anniversary throughout 2023.
The Icelandic studio also announces a special event dedicated to the Lunar New Year: it will begin on January 19 and will take advantage of the management of simplified Chinese outside Chinese territory, on the Tranquility server of EVE Online.

Capsuleers can already prepare for the two big content expansions coming this year. Building on the new narrative dynamics instilled by the Uprising expansion, these content updates will deliver new scenarios, new features, and innovative events to all corners of New Eden. When Direct Engagement arrives in Q1 2023, everyone will be able to join Faction War events seamlessly, without leaving their corporation or alliance. Various additional updates to the EVE Evolved initiative and the Factional Warfare system will be available in the coming months.
In partnership with Microsoft, EVE Online Omega subscribers will be able to directly import their EVE API data into Microsoft Excel, using a native Excel plugin when the feature releases next May. Unveiled during Fanfest 2022, this possibility will allow them to easily retrieve their essential data to calculate their profits, or plan their combat strategies. Volunteers will be able to participate in the closed beta, scheduled for the end of January.
