Although this is a subjective ranking, British film critic TC Candler has once more compiled a list of the 100 most beautiful faces in the world in 2022 – a list published now since 1990. The list is considered the most recognized and the most prestigious of its kind and features no less than three Israeli personalities: actress and model Gal Gadot (12th), models Eden Pines (71st) and Yael Shelbia (7th), the current girlfriend of the famous singer Omer Adam, who has also pranced at the top of this ranking in 2020.
This year, Victoria’s Secret model Jasmine Tookes, 31, was named “the most beautiful face of 2022” by TC Candler and a panel of independent critics.
To establish their ranking, the jurors evaluate thousands of suggestions submitted by Internet users. “Then they compile a representative list of the modern ideal of global beauty.” “Aesthetic perfection is just one of the criteria. Grace, elegance, originality, audacity, passion, class, balance, joy, hope… all of this is embodied also in a beautiful face,” says TC Chandler.
“We only retain 100 faces out of approximately 160,000 celebrities (which is equivalent to less than 0.001%). It’s a thankless task, because no one will ever agree with all the choices,” adds TC Candler.
