HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa chairs the inauguration of the National Finery Museum in Rabat

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Foundation for the Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage in Rabat, chaired, on Saturday at the Kasbah of the Oudayas, the inauguration of the National Finery Museum.

After cutting the inaugural ribbon, Her Royal Highness visited the different rooms of the National Museum of Finery, accompanied by the curator of the exhibition, Abdelaziz El Idrissi, and the curator of the National Museum of Finery, Fatima-Zahra Khlifi.

These are the Room “The historical evolution of the adornment and the manufacturing chain of operations”, the Room “The history of Moroccan costume”, the Room “The male adornment and harnesses”, the Room “The Amazigh adornment » and the Room « The regional specificities of the main production centers of urban jewellery ».

HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa then visited the temporary exhibition hall of the Museum where the works of three Moroccan creators, namely Tamy Tazi, Zhor Raïs and Albert Oiknine, are exhibited.

At the end of this ceremony, the 10-year book of the National Museums Foundation (FNM) was presented to His Royal Highness by the President of the Foundation, Mehdi Qotbi.

Upon her arrival, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa reviewed a section of the auxiliary forces which paid honours, before being greeted by the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social Economy, Fatima Zahra Ammor, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohammed Mehdi Bensaid and the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, Mohamed Yacoubi.

His Royal Highness was also greeted by the President of the Regional Council, Rachid El Abdi, the President of the Municipal Council of the city of Rabat, Asmaa Rhlalou, the President of the Prefectural Council of Rabat, Abdelaziz Derouiche, the President of the Council of the district Hassan, Idriss Errazi, the managing director of the company Rabat Région Aménagement, Mohamed Belbachir, the president of the National Foundation of Museums, Mehdi Qotbi, the director of the Mohammed VI Museum of modern and contemporary art, curator of the exhibition, Abdelaziz El Idrissi, as well as by the Steering Committee of the FNM.
