NASA reveals the first color images of the universe

NASA has revealed the first color images taken by the James Webb Space Telescope.

The footage was broadcast during a briefing at the White House in the presence of President Joe Biden and officials of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the first infrared images from the James Webb Telescope (JWST).

The James Webb Telescope (JWST) reached its final orbit around the sun at regarding 930,000 miles from Earth’s orbit in January 2022.

Technological improvements to the Earth’s spacecraft telescope and distance to the sun are allowing scientists to see much deeper into our universe and in greater detail.

NASA said the James Webb telescope is the most powerful observatory ever placed in orbit, revealing “the deepest and most accurate infrared image of the origins of the universe” ever, looking back more than 13 billion years.

The image is filled with thousands of galaxies and shows the smallest objects ever observed.
