-The port has no one to manage it
-Government is not seen
-The reason for my Risaralda Assembly
-I belong to the CHANGE team
I did more, than I had, what to do
By Álvaro Rodríguez Hernández
In La Virginia, there is no administration, says the former mayor and sure deputy to the Risaralda Assembly, a new position by popular election to which he aspires, Javier Ocampo López.
I would not say that this is a municipality that is kidnapped, but yes, there is no one to manage it and it is totally abandoned.
The person responsible for this chaos is the administration headed by the municipal mayor. He is in charge and I don’t remember what party he is from, he censured in passing when citing the moment of this municipality, attached to the Metropolitan Area.
“The municipality is going backwards and what we achieved, that the municipality was positioned, is now 20 years behind.”
MY ASSEMBLY
Today he is looking for an Assembly that he hopes will be one of the most voted. Under several premises:
-As a former councilor for 12 years, a former mayor, I want to continue serving and provide a service to the entire department. Bring Risaralda forward and with my friend, the current House Representative, Aníbal Hoyos, we were touring all the Risaralda municipalities. the same, for the neighborhoods of Pereira and communes, looking at problems.
-I am looking for the Assembly, to work for the people of the province who often do not feel the accompaniment of a departmental leader, they feel abandoned, and we see that when we visit Risaralda. They only know them during the campaign season and they don’t come back when they have to be next to the communities. That is seen in Pereira that the citizen sometimes asks what the deputies are for and they ask.
OTHER LEADERS
“Today other leaders are needed, who are actually committed to the communities and that is why I made the decision to aspire to continue doing this accompaniment with and for the people and their sectors. I am going to work harder not only for La Virginia, but for the entire department.”
WITH ANIBAL I AM A TEAM
Due to the close friendship with today’s House Representative, Anibal Hoyos, he does not deny that they are great friends “whom we support and are a team.”
TAMAYO DOES IT WELL
He warns that the governor of Risaralda, Víctor Manuel Tamayo, has done well and with a notorious presence in social and infrastructure issues.
“He has been doing an important job. He does it very well.
NO SE VE
The port on Cauca, has a mayor named José Villada, who is criticized by many sectors.
“You can’t see the administration, I don’t know where the councilors who attacked me and made videos of me and that we did bad things are. Today there is no management, works, the works we left behind have not been finished, the town is insecure, rough in the dark, full of homeless people, robberies have increased and homicides have also skyrocketed.”
He comes out to remove those who continue to censor him and point out that as mayor he did not comply either.
MY GOVERNMENT
He defends himself: “We did more than we had to do. We complied with the Development Plan: there were 360 points and the current one did not reach 200 and that is why the more one does, we did more works than any other mayor, we paved 8 kilometers of roads, we made roofs for sports venues that had not been In fact, we recovered the municipal stadium by making a synthetic pitch, lighting, spillway, athletic track, we got the money for the Market Square, we managed more than 100 works in the 4 years. That is not non-compliance.
He does not deny that, in La Virginia, there is a “destructive cannibalism.”
There are political actors who continue with politicking and have not let the municipality fight and continue with an old policy of envy, of revenge, of not looking forward “
APPLICATIONS
Regarding the bets for the mayoralty of Pereira and the governorship, he specifies:
“Today with Maicol Lopera, who is from the Change team, we are up front and working and we are waiting for who is the candidate for governor, who will support the CHANGE team to which I owe myself.”
He is not unaware that there are rapprochements with Senator Juan Pablo Gallo and the doctor, Javier Darío Marulanda.
“We expect guidelines, from him,” he maintains so that there are no doubts.
