After the violent death of a 14-year-old in Weisendorf near Erlangen, the criminal investigation continues. Shortly following the crime, the police arrested the victim’s 17-year-old brother. According to the police, he is suspected of killing his sister in the family home on Friday morning and seriously injuring his mother. The 41-year-old was taken to the hospital.

Traces of blood on the neighboring house indicate that bad scenes must have taken place in the tranquil 6800-inhabitant town. Police found the injured mother outside the home, a spokesman said.

According to the first impression, the 14-year-old died from a pointed, sharp object, probably a knife, as the spokesman said. The mother was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but her life was not in danger. According to the findings of the police, the woman and the two young people were alone in the house at the time of the crime.
