This is what al-Halabi discussed with his visitors

The Minister of Education and Higher Education in the caretaker government, Abbas Al-Halabi, met with the Head of the Educational Center for Research and Development, Hiyam Ishaq, and the General Coordinator of the Educational Curriculum Coordination, Jihad Saliba. The basic papers supporting the national framework for the curriculum and its organization.

The head of the center explained to the minister the nature of the basic supporting papers that will be developed by the specialized committees that are entrusted with this task by the General Planning Authority, and they constitute appendices to the national framework for the curriculum following being duly approved by the committee. These papers derive their rationale from the spirit and text of the framework, and translate its contents into clear directions and procedural details intended for implementation.

The head of the center also explained the mechanism of work, “as these committees in charge of producing the basic supporting papers work according to the following mechanism: Each committee consists of members named by the Presidency of the Educational Center for Research and Development and a group of experts who are approved by the General Planning Authority; provided that each committee has a coordinator An educator who ensures the regularity of its work and its respect for the set dates, and each committee will have a liaison officer with the General Coordination of Curricula, and therefore the committees are expected to finish their work at the end of February 2023.
